What is aged oolong? This is aged oolong, elegant and quiet, refined mature aromatics and flavors, no spoiled fruity sours, no musty strange feeling core. A unique old tea variety of plant brought over from the mainland to Taiwan a century ago or more, this 1975 oolong is a demonstration of quality tea processing from another era and then really excellent storage with no re roasting.
A tea to really sit with and savor, learning from its quiet beauty.
7.5 grams in 100ml can work nicely - please use pure water and porcelains, or whatever you most prefer - just has to be clean and not interfere with the subtlety.
