𝒀𝒊 𝑺𝒊 乙巳 – A Fragrant Invitation to the "Pillar of the Year"

Yi si 乙巳 - the two Chinese characters for the "Pillar of the Year" this 2025, a Yin Wood Snake year.  This scent is made to create a meaningful resonance between the heavenly stem of the yin wood, with the earthly branch of the snake.  This densely fragrant perfume spray creates an opportunity "of interest" which is also the homophonic meaning of the sounds 意思 yi si (ee-suh) in modern Chinese language.  It also sounds like "ease" which you are invited to further fold into the layers of your imagination as you don this fragrance.  A scent snake-like creeping vine emerging in and out of the forest floor, blooming herbaceously amidst a temperate celestial forest.

A core of fragrant wooden foliages, white cedars cypress & galbanum amidst rhododendron & magnolia, leaves & twigs.  The boff slightly bites, initiating the transformation in scent through its herbaceousness, then softens and emerges with a warm glowing iridescent velvet thread leading back to the heart of the "pillar of the year" in sense.

A totally natural fragrance (no synthetics) made with small bits of Chinese herbal materials as well, organic cane alcohol.  I notice is lasts a few hours here in tropics - but will definitely last longer if you use more and in cooler temps.  It is slightly sticky due to the concentration & ingredients.

main ingredients - bergamot, cardamon, rhododendron, magnolia leaf + bark, cypress, white cedar (Chinese & American), Hawaiian propolis, cedar moss, (very slight) orange jasmine, vintage patchouli, and other trace aromatics..
