Years ago in Taiwan I was confused by the hype around aged oolongs. It took me a long time to really understand & be able to detect spoilage among other tea processing core standards. This tea here is such a welcome modern classic, featuring refined charcoal finishing that creates such a uniquely “aged” character that is pure and clear, no sour spoilage or roasting gimmicks - just a quintessentially charming and affordable Taiwanese oolong.
You can brew it grandpa style or gongfu easy enough. I do always wish to recommend having a good water filter (the zero water filter works very well and gives you a tds guage)
