Red oolong is one of my favorite tea types, with proper fermentation of course.  This Spring "Crimson Leaf" offers a unique artisan red oolong style made from da ye "Big leaf" oolong variety adding quite a bit of depth and body to the overall character.

This tea is a real people pleaser with a lot of beautiful easy to appreciate flavors, with long lasting aroma and taste.  Yet it is deeper than that, coherent and soothing and yet still strong, refined and bold.  Excellent for aging potential, or just for really imbibing a benchmark red oolong tea to judge all others by.
