Devadāru: Timber of the Celestials
2 grams approximately 30+ min burn time per stick, October 2026 Classic Edition - Burmese agarwood, custom specially processed Hoary frankincense, & our now classic "Stanford" Cedar material. Balanced and aimed at expressing each singularly as well as in harmony.
The name for Himālayan cedar, or Cedrus deodara comes from the Sanskrit "Devadāru" देवदारु which combines the word Deva "Gods, Divine" and dāru which means "timber, wood".
As an offering and recollection of the Devas or "Celestials" I crafted this recipe using three main ingredients that I felt would do the theme justice. First the "Stanford Cedar" material alongside a rich Burmese aloeswood blend with the specially processed premium "Hojari" Frankincense (Boswellia sacra) making for a bold & beautiful, gloriously elegant trio.
